Morgan County's Voting system:

In 2006, Morgan County began implementation of "Vote Centers" across the county.  Now registered voters can report to any established Vote Center across the County on election day to cast their ballot.

To comply with the Federal Help America Vote Act, voters in Morgan County began using new election equipment at the polls in 2006.  The primary voting system voters use in Morgan County is the eSlate with Verificable Ballot Option (VBO).  The eSlate captures your votes electronically and the VBO prints a record of your votes on a voter-verified paper audit trail.
The system is easy to use, accessible and meets all the requirements of the Help America Vote Act.  Plus, the best thing is Morgan County's new system provides all voters with the opportunity to cast their ballots privately, accurately, securely and verifiably.
